WHAT HAPPENED?

- THE MYSTERY OF THE DINOSAURS, EXPLAINED IN A BACKYARD

Excavation work was started in Portugal in 2017….. The location? A citizen’s house. The reason? The owner found many fragments of fossilized bones while carrying out construction work in his house. Then, he informed a research team of the same. Excavation was started, and the ribs of an animal were seen.
What was fascinating though, was the fact that that these fossils were in such a state, maintaining their original position. Identification took place, and the group to which this dinosaur probably belonged to is known as Brachiosauridae.
This group comprised of large species that lived approximately 160 to 100 million years ago. It also had the largest ribs of a sauropod found in Europe. It is believed to be a Brachiosaurus; which looked like this :-

2. PURPLE CLOUD

Have you ever heard of a “purple cloud”?! Well, it might be for the first time that you have heard of a purple cloud. The cloud originated at the Cala Cala mine which is very close the the town. Well, you might also think that why did the cloud originate over the Cala Cala Cosayach site? Well, iodide sublimation took place. And, when iodide sublimes it gives a purple colour, (which is also more like mauve) giving this cloud it’s characteristic colour.
3. RIP APART

3 Killer Whales ripped apart a great white shark in a terrifying footage.
Orcas, also known as Killer Whales, are extremely smart group hunters.
They kill Great White Sharks with ease.
They hunt in “pods”
Though they are no match for the Megalodon since the Megalodon is just “Too Big” to just flip over, paralyze and kill.
A single Sperm Whale can defeat them….
But they are the ones who caused Megalodon’s extinction along with Great White Sharks; competing with them for food.
4. TERRORISING SPACE!

In Chile, many lightning bolts accumulated over Chile’s Puyehue volcano, erupting the volcano. However the incident took place in 2011. The lightning caused the volcanic eruption.
Not only lightning, but a HUGE EARTHQUAKE also took place at that time, of a magnitude of 9.5 on the Richter scale triggering the volcanic eruption.
5. VOLCANIC TERRORISATION IN 1815

This volcanic eruption, to say the least, ranks a rating of 7 on the Volcanic Explosivity index, which is the highest rank in the index.
It was the largest volcano of all time before the eruption.
When the eruption was at its peak in April 1815, it exploded SO LOUDLY that it’s sound could be heard on Sumatra Island, which was more than 1,930 km away. 71,000 deaths took place, and the ash spread on many far away lands. The whole mountain was turned into a flowing mass of “liquid fire”.
Also, after the explosion, the entire length of the volcano HAD LITERALLY REDUCED to 2851 m from 9354 m
6. A CROSS BETWEEN A KOMODO DRAGON, IGUANAS, MONITOR LIZARDS, GREAT WHITE SHARK, T-REX AND KILLER WHALE

It was 30ft in length; named by scientists as “The Dreadful Titan Of The Sea” and had the traits of some of the world’s most dangerous creatures currently. A fossil of it was discovered by a team from the University of Bristol, dating back to 66 million years ago. It used to gobble down other sea monsters with it’s huge jaws.
It used to actually CHEW DOWN the BONES of big prey
It resembles the killer whale in the fact that it has a massive five-foot-long skull with MASSIVE conical teeth.
It belonged to the group of Mososaurs. Mososaurs weren’t dinosaurs, infact they were relatives of today’s iguanas.
It had a shark-like tail fin.
It also looked like a Komodo dragon and resembled modern iguanas and monitor lizards, it was equipped with flippers instead of legs.
It was a contemporary of animals like T.Rex and Triceratops.
When the asteroid hit, the Mososaurs weren’t in decline, but were flourishing and would have survived the catastrophe.”
Oh, and it is known as Thallassotitan.
It lived in Morocco during the late Maastrichtian time period (the latest phase of the Cretaceous period) of the Cretaceous period.
It grew upto 30 feet (9 m) in size.
It was an apex predator with orca-like teeth, chomping down the bones of the prey.
It’s skull was 5 feet (1.4m) long; which is about the average height of a 10-12 year old.
It was, at the top of the food chain.
It was also highly adapted for carnivory.
